Job Title: Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)

Location: Magodo Phase 2, Lagos

Job Description

1. We are seeking a dedicated Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) to join our team.
2. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care, support physicians, and ensure accurate medical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor patients’ conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
2. Perform routine procedures such as blood pressure checks, administering injections, and updating patient charts.
3. Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
4. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards.
5. Participate in community health outreach programs when necessary.
6. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in line with physicians’ instructions.
7. Provide prompt care in emergency situations.
8. Assist in minor surgical procedures when required.

Requirements

1. Minimum of OND/HND in Community Health Extension or related field.
2. At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
3. Experience working in a pharmacy is an added advantage.
4. Must reside in or around Magodo, Shangisha, Ketu, or nearby areas.
5. Must be duly registered with the appropriate regulatory body.
6. Valid practising licence is required.

Salary
N70,000 Monthly.
