Packaging Technician

Wellcome Nigeria Food Co. Limited is a new fast rising snack, FMCG company, a subsidiary of CWay Nigeria, producing an outstanding snack consumable by both children and adults.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Packaging Technician

Location: Idu, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

1. Set-up, clean and adjust inspection, labeling and packaging equipment as required for proper operation, including change-over
2. Operate packaging line efficiently
3. Document set-up activities on both logbooks and batch records
4. Guide and assist checker operators in the efficient and proper operation of equipment
5. Identify major equipment problems in a timely fashion and alert mechanic for assistance
6. Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, fluid level checks and wear inspection
7. Clear jams and resolve minor problems
8. Document and Pack products for Packaging Distribution Tests
9. Follow all written procedures to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with current GMP.

Requirements

1. BSc in any Engineering field
2. Must have experience with VFFS (vertival form fill seal) machine
3. Must have knowledge of AUTOCAD.
4. Minimum of 3 years working experience

Salary

N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
