About the Role
Our Capital Markets, Accounting Advisory and Services is expanding and we’re looking for a Manager to join our vast community of solvers. The CMAAS team brings our purpose to life by helping Australian businesses create value and improve the way they work. Our team of global capital markets specialists are well placed to build trust in society and solve important problems in order to support our clients who are seeking to diversify their capital portfolio and thrive during moments of exceptional change.
You’ll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
- Global debt and equity transaction assurance, providing comfort over the accuracy of disclosures when it matters most
- Event-driven accounting advisory, supporting Australian corporates through periods of change driven by increased stakeholder and regulator demands
- Global capital markets advisory, identifying key issues and risks early in the deal lifecycle through our globally-proven approach and strong networks with global counsel and advisors
In our CMAAS team, your impact will be seen by:
- Delivering accounting solutions that cut through technical complexity
- Providing knowledge, experience and insight into business transactions occurring within Australia and abroad and into emerging regulatory or accounting standard changes
- Developing innovative solutions for capital market transactions, structuring and areas of accounting complexity
- Engaging with Senior Managers to clearly communicate complex accounting matters and provide pragmatic advice to our clients
- Balancing accounting, tax and legal considerations with implementation advice to clients
- Implementing accounting solutions and financial reporting improvements within our clients finance systems and processes
- Contributing in a meaningful way to the due diligence framework that underpins our trust in global capital markets
