Job Title: Customer Service Officer

Position Summary

  1. The Customer Service Officer is the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for delivering exceptional service and support.
  2. This role involves assisting with a wide range of inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  3. The ideal candidate will be a professional and patient individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, both in person and over the phone.
  2. Inquiry Resolution: Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, accounts, and transactions.
  3. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and complaints in the bank’s system.
  4. Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies to ensure the security and privacy of customer information.
  5. Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and efficiently, escalating complex problems to a manager when necessary.
  6. Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.

Qualifications

  1. NCE,OND, HND Degree or its equivalent in a relevant field.
  2. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  3. A high level of professionalism, patience, and empathy.
  4. Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) softwares.
  5. Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
