Graphics Designer

We’re on the hunt for a talented Graphic Designer who understands football culture and can help us create stunning visuals across our digital platforms.

Whether it’s designing eye-catching social media graphics, matchday content, infographics, or branded assets, you’ll play a key role in shaping the visual identity of SoftFootball. You’ll work closely with editors, writers, and social media leads to ensure our visuals capture attention and elevate our storytelling.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Designing graphics for articles, match previews, results, transfer news, and social media promotion
2. Creating templates and visual assets aligned with SoftFootball’s brand identity
3. Supporting content across Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube, and our website
4. Collaborating with editorial and social teams to visualise ideas and bring stories to life
5. Occasionally creating motion graphics or basic animations for video or reels (a bonus, not a must)
6. Managing multiple projects with quick turnaround times during busy matchdays or breaking news

1. A strong design portfolio with a focus on sports or editorial content
2. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); bonus if you use Canva, Figma or After Effects
3. A sharp eye for layout, typography, and colour
4. Ability to translate football stories into compelling visual content
5. Experience designing for digital and social platforms (especially mobile-first)
6. Self-motivated, responsive, and able to work under tight deadlines
7. Passion for football — you don’t need to know every stat, but you get the culture and the vibe

 Bonus Points For:

1. Motion graphics or video editing skills
2. Illustration or custom visual style
3. Understanding of social media engagement and what performs well visually
4. Familiarity with CMS or editorial workflows
